Getting to Eagar |

|
|
| The town of Eagar is located in the northeastern portion of Arizona, approximately 18 miles west of the Arizona-New Mexico border, at an elevation of 7,000 feet. |

| From Phoenix - |
|
|
|
Many visitors to Eagar prefer the scenic view through Payson.
1. Starting from Phoenix take Route 87 north to Payson, then Route 260 east.
2. In Show Low pick up Route 60 east to Springerville. (It's an approximate 45 minute drive from Show Low to Springerville.)
3. Turn right at the traffic light in Springerville, onto Mountain Avenue/Main Street.
4. Go straight through the next traffic light which is in Eagar and after about a mile or so, the road curves sharply to the right. When you take this curve you will be on School Bus Road.
5. You will make your 1st left off of School Bus Road onto Water Canyon Road (an old saw mill will be on your left after you turn onto Water Canyon). The driveway to the bed and breakfast is 1.7 miles up from the beginning of Water Canyon Road. You'll see our sign about 1 mile up on your right. Keep going straight.
6. When you go over the cattle guard, you'll be about one tenth of a mile or so from our driveway which is on the right. Until a short time ago we had a small bed and breakfast sign at the top of driveway, but the Forest Service had us remove it.
7. Anyway, make your right turn into the driveway. There are two huge boulders at the beginning of the driveway (one on each side). Also, as you make your turn into the driveway, on the left side there is a sign (on the ground, under a tree) that says "1600." Just follow the driveway ALL the way up and bear left toward the house. Then you'll bear to the right just before the water tank and pull your car on the cement pad in front of the garage door. |

From Flagstaff |
|

Heading east along Interstate 40, you'll pass through the communities of Winslow and Holbrook. Exit I-40 at Holbrook and then follow State Route 180 through St. Johns to Springerville.
Turn left at the end of Route 180/191 which will take you into Springerville and then follow directions in #3 through #7 in the directions above. |

From New Mexico - |
|
|
|
Heading west along Interstate 40, you'll cross the border between Arizona and New Mexico. Exit I-40 and turn south onto Route 191 at Sanders. Follow Route 191 through St. Johns to Springerville. Turn left at the end of Route 191/180 which will take you into Springerville and then follow #3 through #7 in the directions above. |

If taking Route 60 west from New Mexico into Springerville, turn LEFT at the traffic light onto Mountain Avenue/Main Street and then follow #4 through #7 in the directions above. |

From Tucson - |
|
|
|
Take Route 77 North to Globe. In Globe pick up Route 60 East which will take you into Show Low. Keep following Route 60 East into Springerville (It's an approximate 45-minute drive from Show Low to Springerville). Then follow #3 through #7 in the directions above. |

Do not hesitate to call if you need help with your directions. Once you are in Eagar we would be most happy to meet you at Arby's or somewhere nearby and you can follow us up to the Bed and Breakfast. As Water Canyon Road is not lit, it may be difficult for some guests to locate our driveway in the evening. Just call us at the B&B number below or our cell phone at 928-245-2412.
